    OSRS Grand Tree Walkthrough

Talk to the Gnome King Narnode who lives in Grand Tree in the Tree Gnome Stronghold and he will beg you to assistance. He will say that the Grand Tree, whose magical powers are able to protect the stronghold, has been being sick for some reason Please offer your help and he will offer you a "bark sample" and an "translation book" and will then instruct you to go and give them to an gnome called Hazelmere that lives in an island located east of Yanille.

Continue south through Ardougne and along the coast until you arrive at Yanille, the island is traversed by numerous bridges . Be aware of the numerous creatures called Jungle Spiders (Level 44) within the home, go up the ladder to the southern end of the island, and converse with Hazelmere and you will not be able to comprehend anything the guy says, but you'll give him the bark sample, he will continue to babble and you'll ask him to "write the bark down".

If you've completed The Watch Tower quest, it is simple to use the watchtower's Teleport to go to Yanille and then walk to the house of Hazelmere. Additionally, having your home in Yanille is a bonus, just use the Teleport to House spell. A third option to visit Hazelmere is to utilize your fairy ring's code CLS.

Hazelmere will scribble something on the paper and provide you with "Hazelmere's scroll" You can then translate the message by reading the translation guide but it reads "A man came to me wearing the king's seal, I offered him Daconia Rocks, and Daconia Rocks will end the tree's life."

Return to King Narnode when he asks whether you talked to Hazelmere, you will reply that you were happy to find him. The king will inquire if you could understand what Hazelmere was saying, select your first choice "Yes yes, and I'm pretty sure I was able to understand it," and the King will ask you what Hazelmere stated, and you will give the last reply "none or any of these" twice , and when you are presented with the third set of options, choose the second "a man approached me wearing the seal of the king" followed by the first option "I handed him the Daconia Rocks" and lastly the last choice "and Daconia rocks will kill the tree! ".

The king will have a realization and you'll ask him what the Daconia rocks are. The king will tell you that Hazelmere designed the rocks to control the tree and it will be asked whether you could help remove the rocks. The king will then ask you to go and inform the chief tree guardian Glough who lives in a tree that is just outside the front. The king will be assured that you'll run off, and the dialogue will be concluded.

Glough lives in the tree that is to the right of on the left side of the Grand Tree, go outside the tree , and then walk down the boulevard, come ramp and climb the first ladder to your east . Glough is likely to be enjoying some kind of gnome delicacy when you talk to him, and will be furious that you've interrupted him. Glough will continue to eat until you inform him that the Daconia Rocks are gone, he will not seem too shocked and will blame humans for it! Then he will inform you that your assistance is not needed and will deal with it so you will be returned to the king.

Return to the king and ask him if he has any news on the stones. He will respond that the situation is under control as Glough found a man "sneaking all around" with three stones. You will be a little concerned, and the king will consider whether humans intend to infiltrate the stronghold, and you'll be doubtful.

You ask to talk to the prisoner The king will tell the prisoner that he's on the highest level of the tree, and "be mindful because it's quite far down". To reach the prisoner, just "climb up" the ladder in the centre of the tree. Once you have reached the top, speak directly to your prisoner Charlie.

Ask him why the tree was going to be killed. the tree. He will be stunned, and when you make a funny comment. Charlie will claim innocence, claiming he did what he was told . Then, if you do "not recognize" He will basically tell you Glough told him to do it all. In this moment, your adventurous feelings will start to kick in, you will say "sounds it like Glough has something to hide", Charlie suggests you search Glough's house, you'll say thank you and go on your way.

Then go to Glough's home If you try to talk to Glough, he'll basically advise you to cut off because he doesn't seem to like humans. Look through the cupboards of his tree and discover the journal of his (funnily enough, he will not ever try to stop you) , read it, and you will discover his hatred for humans is quite deep and that he would rather get out and fight human beings rather than "hide in trees".

Now talk to Glough and accuse him of creating Charlie and accuse him of killing the tree. Glough will be outraged and will call his guards, you'll end up in the clink together with Charlie. Charlie will instruct you that you should talk directly with S. Karamja Shipyard headman if you want to get to the root of this. He will tell you the password "Ka-Lu-Min", to give to the Shipyard workers to make them believe you're working for Glough.

The king will now come and, after offering apology, will set you free. His Majesty will inform you that Glough has placed guards in place so you can't leave the front gate, however the king will allow you to use his glider service so you can get out.

Contact you to Gnome Pilot who is just from the jail cell's north, and ask for a ride up to S. Karamja. Be aware that once you arrive, it will be in the middle of many Jogres (Level 53). After a brief journey it will crash right in the middle of the forest.

Just east of where you crash land are the shipyards, try to open the gate. A shipyard worker will ask what you're looking for, choose"Glough sent me" as the alternative "Glough sent me" The worker will ask for the password, then reply to the first question, and then the second, and finally the third one. The worker will be "Sorry to have left you waiting" and then let you in.

You must go to the far end at the southern end of Jetty where you can "talk to" the foreman (Level 23) (don't engage him), you will talk a little, then he will tell you to go to his office. You will , and he will then ask you again "what you're doing at the moment" and then ask about Glough's wife. then you will respond the third time with "Sadly she's no longer living with us" and then he'll tell you that the "has to verify that there are no imposters."

Another question to answer is "What is Glough's favorite dish" The answer is the second option "he loves worm holes" The final question asks for the name of the new girl who Glough is dating The answer is the first choice "Anita" . The foreman is satisfied by your answers, and the foreman will proceed to inform you of the entire plan. Glough plans to conquer Port Sarim with 30 battleships! He will give you the lumber order, and you will tell that you'll give it to Glough.

If you do not answer the questions correctly If you don't, your Shipyard foreman (who is at level 23) is going to attack you, and I'm assuming he'll drop his lumber-related orders.
